Hello Gaglardi parents,

What a great start to the school year!  We were so thrilled to see 30 parents out to our first PAC meeting of the year!  It really encourages everyone to have this kind of parent participation, especially your children.  I encourage you to join us next Tuesday, Nov 8th, 6:30-8pm as we will not be holding a December meeting out of respect for the busyness of the Christmas season.  We will also have special guest and Principal, Lonnie Penner joining us for a Q & A period at the beginning of the meeting. She will be sharing some of the creative ways new STEM Lego kits will be used in the classroom and outside the classroom.

We have exciting news to share regarding some of the cool projects your PAC fundraising efforts have accomplished early in the school year.  More than anything we love to build community and hear your ideas and inspiration for the special place we call Gaglardi Academy!  Just a friendly reminder to those of you signed up to be Classroom Parents we would like you to join us on behalf of your designated classrooms and if you yourself are unable to attend feel free to send someone in your place.

If you are new to the school, we want to share with you the many ways PAC funds are distributed throughout the school year.  Please refer to this lovely infographic reflecting PAC spending for the past 2021-22 school year.  There are many ways you as a parent community make a difference.
