On Thursday, March 3, Mrs Keenan and her Grade 8 students participated in a medieval feast in the woods at the back of the school. Each student was given a role to play: there was a king and queen, a few knights, two merchants, a cook, a few peasants and a priest. They dressed in medieval costumes and ate food according to the time period - though who got to eat what, depended on what class you belonged to. The royalty, obviously, enjoyed the very best of everything. What a fun, educational activity! And the food looked incredibly yummy too. Thanks, Mrs Keenan!
