Students in the Grades 8 and 9 Missions class are participating in the Coldest Night of the Year Fundraising Walk on Saturday, Feb. 25. Students need to dress warmly and wear good walking shoes.

Parents, please drop off your children at Native Sons Hall at 4:45 pm; pick up is at 6:45 pm, also at the Native Sons Hall. If parents and families would like to stay and do the walk also, you are most welcome to.

Students are hoping to raise funds through sponsorship for their participation in this event. All proceeds go towards Comox Valley Transition Society and Dawn to Dawn. 

Event Timeline:

  • 4:45 - Check-in
  • 5:00 - Walk begins
  • 6:00 - Light meal served and closing remarks
